Asad Kazim

Asad Kazim is a consulting and training professional with over 40 years of real-world experience including more than 20 years of managing projects and complex programs in the IT, communications, and defence industries.

Asad holds an engineering degree in avionics from the Engineering University of Karachi, a Masters of Science in Electronics from the University of Southampton, and an MBA from Preston University.

His professional qualifications in project management include Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP). In agile, he holds the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) designation, the Scrum Master Certification (SMC) and Scaled Scrum Master Certification (SSMC), PMI Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM), Scrum Developer Certification (SDC), and Scrum Product Owner Certification (SPOC). Asad’s quality management qualifications include a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification (SSMBB). In lean management, he holds a Lean Master Certification (LMC), is a Kaizen Expert and he has also passed the ITIL Foundations exams (both v3 and v4). Finally, he holds a number of cybersecurity qualifications including AKYLADE Certified Cyber Resilience Practitioner (A/CCRP), AKYLADE Certified Risk Management Practitioner (A/CRMP), and AKYLADE AI Security Foundations (A/AISF).

He is a PMI-accredited ATP instructor and holds the Scrum Trainer Certification which he leverages when teaching a number of project management, agile, six sigma and lean topics.
